Fast: Reduces cooking time up to 70%.  Favorite recipes easily adapt and cook in one third of the time.

Easy: Extremely easy to operate. Just load ingredients, lock lid in place and begin cooking. Release pressure and enjoy healthy, flavorful meals. It is that easy!

Healthy: Create delicious meals while retaining important water-soluble vitamins and minerals. Steam vegetables in a flash or cook beans and grains super-fast with little or no pre-soaking involved. Cooks without oil. Maintain the natural color and flavor of foods.

Safe: The Fagor Pressure cooker is equipped with three independent pressure release mechanisms. If the unit is left unattended the main valve will begin to release excess pressure, next the safety valve will assist in releasing pressure and finally the gasket will protrude from the notch located on the side of the lid. Moreover, pressure will never build up if the safety lock has not been moved to the closed position. Once the pressure indicator has popped up, it will automatically block this safety lock, not allowing you to move it to the “open” position until all the pressure has been released.

Loved my "first try" Fagor 4 qt pressure cooker so much, I ordered the 8 qt for cooking larger quantities. Delighted at how easy it is to use - important to follow instructions in the Fagor guide and when in doubt always stick to half full or at least below the max indicator line. I have been happily successful with all kinds of grains and legumes. Kitchen stays cool in the summer and no more hours of pot watching :) Well made and a beautiful finish on this cookware. Bravo, Fagor! proud to support a worker owned cooperative. #pots, cookware, cookwarebakeware, kitchenfood

This the worst pressure cooker ever! The main advantage of pressure cookers over the regular pots is that they use pressure to cook the food. This one simply lets all the pressure out through what they call "Locking mechanism" which needs the pressure inside the pot to function and lock the pot. This is disastrous in a pressure cooker for two reasons: one is that it goes against the main function of pressure cookers by letting all the pressure out, and two because it forces you to use high temperatures to keep the pressure high which in turn burns your food before it ever locks. I had a SEB pressure cooker in another country that worked way better than this one. I'll never recommend this to anyone.
