Green Aventurine is an interesting stone, a version of green quartz, mined in Chennai, India.

These stones are set into 4 pronged mounts, linked together by balled pins, so theres no solder anywhere with the exception of the clasp -- a good design. We cast our own mountings and will never use flimsy "snap tight" stuff... This allows the most show of stone for the least expense in silver, still maintaining sturdy construction.
