A comfortable 8x6mm , this is a great stone. All sorts of red, blue and green flash on a black background. If this were a mined stone, itd cost 1,000/ct, but its not and so you and I can both afford it. This looks just like your best Lightning Ridge Opal, but its not.
Oh, and its a LOT more durable too. Nothing gives you a bad day worse than your 1,000/ct natural black opal getting cracked up the middle just cause you wore it on a cold day. That wont happen with this material. Very durable, and if theres a problem, very inexpensive.
Totally excellent, and fraction of what real ones would cost -- but you pretty much have to be a jeweler to tell the difference.
Good strong construction, a ring that will hold up well.
