This is a pretty stone. All sorts of red, blue and green flash on a black background. If these were mined stones, theyd cost 1,000/ct, but theyre not and so you and I can both afford it. This looks just like your best Lightning Ridge Opal, but its not.

Oh, and its a LOT more durable too. Nothing gives you a bad day worse than your 1,000/ct natural black opal getting cracked up the middle just cause you wore it on a cold day. That wont happen with this material. Very durable, and if theres a problem, very inexpensive.

This ring is a nice design; with a strong, heavy nugget pattern.
